Pin Oak Valley View Stakes (Div. 1) at Keeneland

Dave Bond | OTB Writer

Las Vegas, NV - The Grade 3 Pin Oak Valley View Stakes (Div. 1) is on tap for this Friday, October 19 from Keeneland in Lexington Kentucky. Three year old fillies will be after their share of the $125,000 purse when they go 1 1/16 miles on Keeneland's turf track.

The Pin Oak has been split into two divisions because of the quantity of entries that the race has drawn - a $150,000 purse has been split into two $125,000 purses as a result. Division 1 has attracted 12 fillies for race 7 on Keeneland's Friday card. Post time is 4:17. Here is a breakdown of the 12 entries into the first division and what should transpire Friday.

Colonial Flag - Mike Matz trained filly finished a very good second by one length in the Grade 3 Regret Stakes at Churchill Downs on June 16 to follow a pair of wins - an Allowance Optional Claiming at Belmont and a Maiden Special Weight at Keeneland. She finished a disappointing eighth July 14 in the Grade 1 American Oaks but bounced back last time out with an impressive win in the Grade 3 Ontario Colleen.
