Las Vegas, NV - The Grade 2 Gulfstream Oaks goes down this Saturday, March 30 from Gulfstream Park in Hallandale, Florida. A purse of $300,000 will be on the line as will 100 points toward qualification into the $1 million Kentucky Oaks for three year old fillies willing to go 1 1/8 miles on Gulfstream's main track.

2013 Gulfstream Oaks Race Favorites

Dreaming of Julia - Todd Pletcher filly entered the Breeders' Cup in November having started three career races and winning all - a win on August 6 by an astounding 10 1/2 lengths at Saratoga was followed by an equally impressive 16 1/4 length score in the Meadow Star Classic on September 9. She was impressive in winning the Grade 1 Frizette Stakes at Belmont October 6 before an OK third in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies. Last time out was a second in the Grade 2 Davona Dale Stakes to Live Lively - on this track February 23. She will be out for revenge and the 100 points Saturday and is the morning line favorite for the Gulfstream Oaks.

Live Lively - raced in stakes company for the first time for trainer Mark Hennig last time out and impressively won the Grade 2 Davona Dale over Dreaming of Julia here February 23. Before that she won two of three previous starts - an Allowance Optional Claiming by 11 1/4 lengths here January 1 followed a MSW score over Lady Banks November 23 at Aqueduct. In her first career start she was third in a MSW at Belmont Park back in June. Live Lively has won three straight races heading into the Gulfstream Oaks - two on this track and has to be on the radar Saturday.

Emollient - Bill Mott trained Emollient has four career starts with two wins and two second place finishes. Last time out was an Allowance Optional Claiming score on this track February 16 to follow a good second in the Grade 2 Demoiselle Stakes as the 4-5 favorite at Aqueduct in November in his stakes debut. She has been at or near the top in all four career starts and figures to threaten the favorites Saturday.

Cue The Moon - makes just her third career start for trainer H. James Bond. She is coming off a decent second by a neck to My Happy Face in the Grade 2 Tempted Stakes at Aqueduct November 4 after a MSW score in her debut in September.

Kimberly Jean - Kenneth McPeek pupil had five MSW races to start her career with a win a second and a third place finish. Last time out was an OK second to Bill Mott trained Close Hatches in an Allowance Optional Claiming on this track March 10.

Original Script - ships in from Woodbine where she has raced three times in her career. She had two wins - a MSW and an Allowance Optional Claiming before a second last time out in the minor Ontario Lassie Stakes December 9.
